Nick approached me to help him record a video for his single, “Tip Toe.” His concept was intriguing — a story told exclusively through the feet of our two characters.

The Gear
When Nick first brought his concept for Tip Toe to me, I knew it was going to be a very movement-heavy video. For that reason, I used an RS2 Pro gimbal for most of our shots.
I also decided on using my BMP4k because I wanted as much control over the color and shadows as possible.
When Nick first brought the concept of Tip Toe to my attention, I knew it was going to be a very movement-heavy video. For that reason, I used a gimbal for most of our shots. I wanted the piece to feel very fluid and it was the best tool in my filmmaker’s toolkit at the time.
